Port City Pottery and. Fine Crafts Celebrating 17 years!
Wilmington NC - 17th Anniversary Gemstone: Carnelian, an orange-red stone that signifies endurance, courage and passion. This is a wonderful description of Port City Pottery and Fine Crafts gallery. It took Courage for the founders to start this co-op gallery when there were very few shops dedicated exclusively to locally-made three-dimensional handcrafted artwork in our area.
Through the Endurance of the members, the gallery survived the 2020 pandemic period. And most of all it’s the Passion and Love our artists have for their crafts and our customers.
Today over 20 members of the co-op not only provide their amazing artwork to the gallery, but also work in the shop several days a month. Throughout April we will be celebrating our anniversary by highlighting each of our artists through a fun game..Word of the Month! People can enter a drawing for a gift basket full of art from our members by telling our staff the Secret Word. Links to the word can be found in our social media, website and in the gallery.
On April 26th from 6 to 9pm there will be a celebration for the 4th Friday Gallery Walk, with refreshments, meet the artists and the drawing for the gift basket. Please join us to celebrate the arts!
