For as long as I can remember I have been working with my hands, from early childhood helping my father
in his workshop to a career in mixed media fabrication. Of the many materials I have worked with, wood has always been my favorite. Wood creates warmth and richness in a very unique way. “It’s all about the grain.”
Wood’s inherent properties sometime requires careful considerations regarding multiple densities and grain patterns.
As a 4th generation Norwegian American, I am drawn to the simple, clean and functional Scandinavian styling.
I enjoy taking an idea to completion and the continued learning process along the way.
