​I create unique fiber art in felt, knit and crochet.... every design is one-of-a-kind.​ And I've recently added alcohol ink
greeting cards, ornaments, paintings and silk scarves.
What began as a hobby became a passion - and Scarf It Up was born! I've focused on combining freeform knit with
crochet and nuno felting, an ancient art of merging fine silk fabrics with merino wool roving to create
very unusual fabrics for scarves, wraps, and shawls, jewelry, bags, and wall hangings.
My creative expression manifests itself in an exploration and explosion of color and texture, featuring stitch variation and organic, asymmetrical design. I never use patterns; each piece is uniquely designed and executed 
​using the finest yarns, fibers and upcycled materials. 
Most of my work, with the exclusion of bags and purses, has multiple ways to wear.  
How would I describe my work? Funky, freeform, yet fully functional.
