CAT BRADLEY
POTTERY

I found clay as a young mom, looking for a creative outlet in my me-time. Wortendyke Studio, Midland Park, NJ, introduced me to the love of clay in my hands, on my clothes and sometimes up my nose!
After a too-long hiatus, I sought out a working/teaching studio, before I even moved to Wilmington seven years ago,
wondering if it could attract my attention as it had before. The tactile/tensile nature captured me; the freedom of making mistakes and the surprise of unexpected beauty, all came back to me with a vengeance. Clay is now truly fired into my heart.
My sculptural pieces currently revolve around the sea, backyard critters, bits of nature and whimsy. I smile and laugh a lot, and hope my work brings smiles and joy to others.
