Bob Fowler

WOOD CARVER

Bob Fowler has been carving wildlife for 35 years. Living on the coast in Southeast Florida inspired him in many ways. All his carvings are stained to reveal the grain which enhances the beauty of each piece. Fishing has always been a passion of his, and he enjoys carving the species he catches. Living on the Intercoastal waterway was an amazing natural studio for Bob. Egrets and herons visited their backyard every day.

Bob has been involved with Ducks Unlimited for as long as he's been carving.  He contributes decoys and shorebirds to annual auctions for the preservation of wetlands. He currently serves on the DU Committee here in Wilmington.
