linda flynn
Stained & fused glass
Born and raised in New England, Linda has been drawing and painting for most of her life. Her artistic journey began with traditional media and evolved over decades to include stained and fused glass, allowing her to explore light, texture, and color in dynamic new ways.
Linda earned a BA in Studio Art from the University of NH, with a concentration in painting. She worked as a graphic artist in the screen-printing industry, combining her creative vision with commercial design skills. While raising two daughters and working as an electronic technician in research and development, Linda continued to refine her artistic techniques-- never stepping away from her passion for visual expression.
Despite the challenge of partial blindness in her left eye, caused by a past infection and a condition resembling retinal degeneration, Linda creates work celebrated for its depth, rich textures, and vivid color. Her resilience and commitment to her craft have driven a continual evolution of her style and mediums for more than 45 years.
In 2017, Linda relocated to Wilmington to immerse herself in the vibrant coastal art scene. She travels throughout the southeastern US, showcasing her work at major art festivals, connecting with art lovers across the region.
