Amy Lyn is a New York native who has been calling Leland, NC home for almost three years. Amy dedicates herself full time to creating her "living Art." Her mixed media pieces incorporate sculptural elements as well as live air plants.
Amy has always found beauty in the discarded, leading her to use recycled, salvaged and found materials in her work. Her inspiration often comes from the materials she “finds," people in her life and emotions that she experiences. Although some pieces are born from negative experiences, she strives to convey positive feelings through her pieces, which are reflected in their names.
