Sue Weisenburger studied pottery at the College of William and Mary with Marlene Jack, a student of Warren MacKenzie, and with John Eckert in St Petersburg, FL. Focusing on wheel throwing, making first raku vessels, and then functional ware, she worked and taught part time in the Northern VA/Washington DC area. In 2010, she moved her studio back to the beach in Wilmington NC where she established Full Circle Stoneware. Sue is now a full time potter. " I find great satisfaction in making functional pottery. Within the parameters of what makes a useful vessel, there is room to create beauty and to speak to what nourishes the body and the spirit. "
