Wearable fiber art in knit, crochet, and felt, this is most definitely "NOT your grandmother's knitting!" What began as a hobby became a passion - and the rest is history. Scarf It Up was born! I've recently added fabric scarves, hammered shawl pins, buttons, earrings, and neckwraps to my repertoire of scarves, other neckpieces, vests, felted bags, body adornments and more.
My creative expression manifests itself in an exploration and explosion of color and texture. I never use patterns; each piece is uniquely designed and executed using the finest yarns, fibers, and frequently, upcycled materials. Most of my work - with the exclusion of bags and purses - has multiple ways to wear.
How would I describe my work? Funky, freeform, yet fully functional.
