I have enjoyed woodworking since high school, when I learned how to play with tools and wood in my Dad's shop. I pursued a career as an Analytical Chemist, but dabbled in art and design via several hobbies. After retiring, I co-founded Karma Wood Arts, and embarked on a more dedicated venture into the creative arts. In addition to expressing my creativity with wood alone, I enjoy combining different media like wood, stained glass, embroidery, clay and other materials in ways that are unique, unexpected or whimsical.
